A new flying camera, nicknamed “the bug” is being trialled in the UK at the moment. It watches for suspicious activity and then trails potential suspects from 550ft in the air. With 4.2 million CCTV cameras already operating in Britain, do we really need any more?

Robot Ethics Charter

An ethical code to prevent humans abusing robots, and vice versa, is being drawn up by South Korea. and will be released later in 2007. If we have conscious machines before 2020 as has been predicted, perhaps this is not as mad as it sounds….
